LCD display tft screen UV test

Ultraviolet light is the light in sunlight with a frequency of 750 THz to 30 PHz, which corresponds to a wavelength of 400 nm to 10 nm (nanometers) in a vacuum. The English name for ultraviolet is Ultraviolet (abbreviated as UV).

Test Purpose

The purpose of UV aging test is to simulate the long-term effects of UV rays on materials in the natural environment, to accelerate the aging process, and to observe the changes in material properties, such as discoloration, loss of light, cracking, etc., which affect the appearance and usability of the products.

Test Condition

[1]Test basis :D-In2-T(Indoor dry climate)

[2] Chamber air temperature:65℃

[3] Relative humidity : <30%R.H.

[4]Radiation power:830 W/m²

[5] Duration:240 h(Continuous)

[6] DUT operation : No operation

[7] DUT quantity:8EA

Test Importance

Through UV aging testing, manufacturers can:

– Identify problems in product design and material selection for improvement.

– Predict product life and support quality control and after-sales service.

– Provide strong data support for product development, quality control and after-sales service.

UV Aging Tester

As a scientific research and testing organization focusing on TFT LCD failure analysis, ICP DAS Laboratory has rich experience and excellent technical strength in UV aging test. Equipped with advanced testing equipment and strict quality control processes, the laboratory is able to provide customers with high standard UV aging test services. Jinjian laboratory uses UV lamps to simulate the ultraviolet rays in sunlight, and selects UV lamps with appropriate wavelengths according to different test requirements, because there are differences in UV irradiation energy and wavelengths of different lamps.
